Met grootse en melancholische atmosferische melodieën, de prachtige etherische stem van zangeres Anne van den Hoogen en betoverende reverb gitaren (van o.a The Gathering gitarist René Rutten) , is Habitants muziekstijl verbonden met de donkere shoegaze en etherische golf van de jaren ‘80. De gitaargedreven soundscapes van Habitants laten je ronddwalen in nieuwe werelden, kwetsbaar en krachtig, overweldigend als het sublieme.

De band bestaat verder uit gitariste Gema Pérez, bassiste Mirte Heutmekers en drummer Jerôme Miedendorp de Bie.

Met het debuutalbum One Self (2018) heeft Habitants zichzelf op de kaart gezet als een opkomende kracht in de alternatieve muziek-scene. De plaat kreeg wereldwijd lovende reacties. De band speelde daarop een clubtour door Nederland en stond op festivals als Bruis en Oranjepop.

Met het vervolgalbum Alma (geproduceerd door producer Attie Bauw en verwacht begin 2024) krijgt de dromerige shoegaze sound een experimenteler geluid. De band durft hiermee buiten de gebaande paden te treden en te zoeken naar nieuwe manieren om hun krachtige geluid uit te diepen of tot verstilling te verfijnen.

We are The Gansett Set, a new New York Based Rock Trio. During the past year we've been recording and producing a 16-track album titled Victoria Secret Party.

We are heavily influenced by Astor Piazzola, Arctic Monkeys, and Bowie as well as traces of Jazz and Tango since two of our band members are Argentinean, with the third being from New York.

It was in October '22 when frontman Matt decided to form a band, bringing his latest home-recorded songs to life. He soon met drummer Jörg and bassist Max, and they instantly clicked. While finishing the album, it took some time until July '23, when they found in Geggo their perfect match as guitarist.
On September 15th 2023 they released their first LP called 'The Bright Side Of The Sun'.

Biography
For their passion for music, friends Jyrki Unhola and Alvaro Araya Leon began recording music. At first, it was intended as a hobby project that consisted of recording cover songs, but they quickly realized that they had something solid and good going on. The recordings, which started with very simple means, quickly developed into high-quality productions. Alvaro's unique sounds in his voice and guitar playing together with Jyrki's sense of tempo in his way of playing bass and curiosity for sound technology, made them together manage to create a whole new soundscape for already known songs.

In the summer of 2018, Alvaro met Malin Araya Frostfalk. It soon became known that they both shared a big passion for music and
Malins talent for adding vocals, became a huge access for Portraits & Tales. After been a trio for quite some time, the band invited Robin Lundberg as the fourth member. This decision was made after the band had done some live shows with robin. They felt that his playing style added so much to the band's sound, so they simply couldn't think of anything else but to invite Robin as a full band member.

On September 18, 2018, Portraits & Tales releases a cover of Uno Svenningsons – "Du kommer att ångra det här" on YouTube. In less than a week, it has reached over 4,000 views. By this time, it was clear to all members that Portraits & Tales was no longer a hobby band and that it was now time to take their music to a higher level. The band releases one more cover: Chris Isaaks - Wicked Game. Their cover version gest about the same response as their version of "Du kommer att ångra det här".
After releasing their second cover, P&T decides that it's time to start releasing their own material and on February 14, 2021, this is a fact.

Portraits & Tales releases their first original song "Only You" on Spotify and other music platforms. The song is released with accompanying video recorded by A&A productions. The song has received a good response on social media and contributed to P&T`s audience growing in form of new followers. In September 2021, P&T releases their second single, Struggle.

By the end of 2021, it was clear that P&T will start a collaboration with record label Bd Pop. Thanks to this collaboration, they now had the possibility to get their third single “Elsa” from their upcoming EP, produced and mixed by Patrik Heikinpieti (more known as the drummer of Mando Diao) at Patso productions studios. In May the 27th of 2022, the 4 track Ep titled “This is Portraits & Tales” was finally released.
In 2023 it was time for their 4th single “Suddenly” to see the day of light. The song received a massive respond from their fans. Much of it, was because the stop motion video created by A.and.A productions, which gave clarity to the meaning of the song.

Suddenly was followed by Portraits & Tales 5th single “What if I was” who was released in January 2024. This song made a huge impact on Portraits & Tales audience, which resulted in a massive spread by their fans. Portraits & Tales thinks that the reason for this, is the meaning of the song, which is a declaration of love to the bandmembers children. Portraits & Tales comments this respond with these words: “This is the ultimate kind of love you can ever feel for anyone, which any person who’s a parent, can relate to. But even if you don´t have children, this is the kind of song you dedicate to anyone you love and appreciate”.

Now the band is ready to show another side of themselves with their new single “Leave it all behind”. The band has put all their grit on this new song who encourage their listeners to leave old stuff in the past and move forward.

Currently, P&T is working hard, recording new songs in the studio. The main goal is to release at least 5 new songs during 2024.

Naast een liefde voor alles wat gruizig en overstuurd klinkt, beschikken de Alpha Rats (voormalig leden van Disturbance, Organisms, wet Boys, The Levi’s, Worgpaal en Spider Rico) over een onuitputtelijke bron materiaal. Herzien en voorzien van een flinke laag low gain en distortion blijken weggestopte ideeën tegenwoordig ongehoorde pareltjes. Onder de noemer “post-wave”: een combinatie van rauwe punk en de ongepolijste diy mentaliteit van garage beleefd de band haar eerste successen in Den Haag (Sniester, Zwarte Ruiter Barakka Bash).
De Alpha Rats trekken het land in nu zelfs Madurodam geen kleine zaaltjes meer heeft om plat te spelen. Klinkt als Jay Reatard, Hot Snakes, Wipers, Pissed Jeans en Idles achter de duinen.

Dorian Whisper, a versatile singer-songwriter from the Netherlands, primarily composes his songs on guitar, weaving lyrics that draw inspiration from cherished memories to striking political events or just spread positivity. His rock and pop compositions seamlessly blend a variety of musical styles and influences, such as Phil Collins, Santana, Steely Dan, Sting, Van Morrison and classic bands like Pink Floyd and Genesis.
Despite having decades of musical experience, Dorian Whisper debuted with his EP ‘As Long as You Want’ in March 2020. This EP was followed by several successful singles, including ‘Brand New Day' and ‘Fate Cut Another Ribbon’, the latter of which honors the late rock drummer Taylor Hawkins of the Foo-Fighters.
Dorian Whisper is highly involved in the production of his music, singing and playing guitar on all his tracks. Since 2022, he also taken on the roles of playing keys, bass and drums. For earlier releases, the accompanying instruments were played by arranger and musician Richard Deligero from Davao City (Philippines).
In addition to his rock and pop music, Dorian Whisper also experiments with synthesizers and electronic music. For example, his song 'Time For The Game' (June 2024) captures the excitement of upcoming sports events, while 'Another Way - Synth Version' (2023) reinvents an earlier acoustic song in an electronic style. Despite his electronic experiments, his music often features signature rocking guitar solos.
Overall, Dorian Whisper’s music is a fusion of personal storytelling, genre-blending compositions, and thoughtful exploration of various themes, all while maintaining a strong rock backbone.

The debut performance was in April 2023, and a lot has happened since then. The first single with music video "Outta Your Mind" was on March 15th, 2024. The second single with music video "The Other Side" was released on June 21st, 2024.

In addition to the single releases, a number of great shows have already been booked for 2024.
Two shows have already been played at the renowned Paaspop festival, a support show for STEEL PANTHER, a show the almost legendary Burgerweeshuis. Many more are planned. Beerland, Zeeltje Rock, among others. where the stage will be shared with major acts such as Jett Rebel, Wild Romance and Vandenberg.

Vincent Corjanus is een poëziepopper. De singer-songwriter zocht een jasje voor zijn gedichten, zo ontstonden er liedjes. Een nieuw genre was geboren. Inmiddels draait Vincent 10 jaar mee met zijn liedjes en gedichten. Hij schreef acht dichtbundels en maakte diverse cd's. De gedichten van Vincent waren te horen tijdens Ted Talks, radioshows op 3FM en Radio 2 en ook Frank Boeijen droeg werk van hem voor. De liedjes van Vincent Corjanus zijn teder en rauw. Soms met een vleugje elektronica, maar altijd recht uit hart.

SIPKE is een zelfstandige Nederlandstalige rock-pop act die zingt over optimisme en twijfels. Met zijn act fleurt hij de boel op, en laat hij je meezingen over herkenbare obstakels waar zelfs Google nog geen antwoord op heeft. Denk aan Racoon als die samen zouden schrijven met Foo Fighters.

Yura Vatolin founded the Lo.Krain project initially as an indie band in 2011 with his friends. They focused on concert activities and toured a lot in nearby Siberian cities. Later, without a group, he experimented within the framework of this project, collaborating with various musicians and giving solo concerts. In 2017, Yura visited Paris with a concert. Having officially released more than 30 songs in Russian and English, at the moment he prefers to make music entirely himself, from playing the drums to recording vocals and mixing the track in his home studio. He also designs covers for his releases. He still draws inspiration from indie rock music, which, in his opinion, initially sought greater freedom of expression and did not force itself into the rigid boundaries of style. According to him, creating music is associated with an adventure along the yellow road to the emerald city. Miracles exist, otherwise how did music appear?

Middlefinger is an alternative rock band from Romania formed in 1998 by members of the bands Green Light, Next Padarox and Dust. In 2001, the band was nominated for the Romanian Music Industry Awards.

Spanish-Argentinean musician based in Sicily. After several musical projects between Buenos Aires and Madrid, Soledad Sonora starts a new solo and independent project. He has worked with many collaborations.

Marieke Schenk is een artiest die in één woord omschreven kan worden: enthousiast!
In 2017 werd Marieke verliefd op de muziek na het bijwonen van een concert van Miss Montreal. Dit concert heeft ervoor gezorgd dat ze dag in dag uit op de gitaar aan het oefenen was. Na uren lang schrijven was het zover. Haar eerste nummer was een feit. Inmiddels heeft ze de smaak te pakken en heeft ze al een volledig eigen repertoire aan eigen muziek kunnen maken.

De Kunstbende bood Marieke een podium aan en sinds dien is ze er niet meer van af te krijgen. Zo heeft ze in 2022 op het Hullabaloofestival mogen staan naast artiesten als Danny Vera en Kygo. Ook op het Bevrijdingsfestival Drenthe en Eurosonic Noorderslag was ze te zien.

Marieke speelt catchy popsongs. Ze maakt muziek om mensen te inspireren, zoals Miss Montreal haar geïnspireerd heeft. Dit doet ze door lekker zichzelf te zijn op het podium. Kortom; door Marieke haar energie is elk optreden er één om niet meer te vergeten.
