ZEP op Pukkelpop 2025

With his striking appearance standing at a majestic 2.04 meters tall, ZEP isan artist who leaves an indelible impression. Even more impressive is his musical ability, which he captures in his signature, versatile style as a multi-instrumentalist and a thoroughbred showman. After originally starting out as a drummer and DJ, he now plays a plethora of instruments such as (bass) guitar, keys, drums and then adds non-conventional attributes like basketballs, garden-hoses, and zippers for good measure – all in good fun but with a serious side eye to a phenomenal show.  Mostly based around his solo performance, often-times the shows will be interlaced with guest appearances, crowd participation and full out mosh-pits. With his background as a Conservatory alumnus, strongly connected with the skate/break/hiphop/electronic scene he has fine tuned the art of delivering a rager of a show, drawing a unique crowd that is dedicated to whatever he brings to the set. This new generation of ‘club kids’ come together in his high energy, eclectic genre bending live show where the stage blends into the dancefloor and ZEP is a perfect one-man musical army whilst his tribe converge in a storm of enjoyment and shared experience where everyone is welcomed. More even than his shows and his music (more about that in a bit!) It is his persona and way of life that exuberates hip hop / punk energy. Meaning he takes what life throws at him and completely makes it his own in everything he does, including the growing body of music he releases. Unsurprisingly this makes him a not so standard viral sensation with over 125k Instagram followers and an ever-growing TikTok viewership now past 176k. Still, his relationships with his fans remain almost personal and together they have forged a community of sorts.  With all that, he’s already managed to sell out his self-produced shows in Berlin, Barcelona Milan, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, London (2x!) and Paris and then neatly followed it up with a tour the force of Summer Festivals which included the USA, Boomtown (UK), Audioriver (Germany), Open’er (Poland) and a game changing set at Lowlands (NL). All a nice lead up to his headline show for Amsterdam Dance Event.
